Food is a sustainable source but it is all in how it is used to help better people's lives. There are plenty of book out there that can help someone who wants to diet and diet the way their body needs it. This website gives multiple ways to make sure food stays sustainable.
A big key is to not waste food. Instead of eating as much as one can, making the meal portions smaller. That way money is being saved and health is being focused on. To not eat so much red meats but to consume more fruits and vegetables. Also seeing as how most people are lactose intolerant, things like dairy should be consumed less. To keep with the sustainable food and remaining healthy along with saving some money while doing it; people should go to their local stores instead of the bigger grocery stores. Looking at the food that is getting put into your body and really seeing what is in it and seeing if it is something that can help or hurt your health. Another option is to grow your own food so that way you know exactly what you are putting to your body. By doing some of these key steps, a good balance can come from this.
With doing some research and focusing on ones health, the diseases that are caused now from foods and the products that get put into people's bodies may help in decreasing the number of people with diseases or food allergies. It is not something that will happen over night. It is going to take a while to see chances.

  2. Good description of the webpages' primary focus. Well thought out idea that reducing waste increases food sustainability as well as helps us to be more healthy by having smaller portions. One of our citations is missing.
