It is said and known that food is a key source in everyone’s everyday life. It is something that has to be used in order to help people survive. That being said the type of food that gets put into people’s body is also a very important key. It has been shown that people are focusing too much on how much food they get and not on how healthy or what certain foods can do for them. Essentially people do not put healthy food in their body but more or less junk in their body.
Something else is the fact that it is estimated that around ⅓ to ½ of the food in the world is getting wasted yet there are people in our world that are starving. Instead of wasting the food a new diet should be put into plan and money can be saved and the health level will go up. Right now with the type of food that gets put into bodies it is causing so many health problems and food diseases. Things like cancer, heart disease, obesity, type one and two diabetes. By changing the supply chain this can help fix or lesson the problem with people’s health.
The price of food has become outrageous. It is at it’s peak for how much it cost for people to go out and buy food. This is why it is a good idea for people to grow their own food and also because that way you know exactly what is going into your body and the worry about how the food was handled gets eliminated because that person dealt with their own food.
Right now food is still sustainable and it may continue to stay that way but with all the extra hormones and steroids that are given to animals, it is not unheard of for an animal to go extinct. Instead of worrying about quantity and starting to worry about quality this will help out in the health of the people and also in the sustainability of food.
